Potter Park Zoo held their annual Wine & Stein last Thursday, May 19th, from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. The after-hours tasting event treated attendees to exclusive evening access to the zoo -- while enjoying a diverse selection of fine wines and beers, light music, a raffle, and delicious hors d'oeuvres.Culinary sponsors included Bake N' Cakes, Bravo Cucina Italiana, Burgdorf's Winery, Don Henry Distributing Co., Enso, King of the Grill, M&M Distributors, Michigan Brewing Company, Mitchell's Fish Market, Paramount Coffee, Pizza House, Sultan's Middle Eastern Cuisine, and University Club/Mingle.
I had a great time. The food was fabulous, and there were many different kinds of beers and wines for everyone to enjoy tasting. The animals were all adorable. I even got my picture taken with the sharp-looking eagle owl.
